WELCOME TO ELVIRE VOLK DESIGN — THOUGHTFUL HOME IMPROVEMENT

Projects

These rooms began as briefs about light, storage, and how a household moves. Materials, joinery, and trades were coordinated so the finished photographs still match the way the spaces are used every day.

The Willow Kitchen

A galley that never quite held two cooks became an island kitchen with pantry cupboards in the former utility. Oak, pale stone, and concealed lighting keep the room calm while the working edge stays tough enough for daily baking.

The Harbour Bath

A narrow bathroom gained a walk-in shower by relocating the door swing and using a compact vanity with deep drawers. Large-format tiles reduce grout lines, and a heated towel rail sits inside the joinery line so the room feels composed.

The Atlas Living Room

Wiring was buried, a media wall was built around existing speakers, and a tired fireplace surround was replaced with a quieter stone shelf. The household kept their sofa; the room simply learned to frame it.
